Little Legends Wave Fest Travel Series
At Gnome Surf Therapy’s Little Legends Wave Fest, “fitting in” isn’t a requirement—it’s a guarantee. This epic one-day camp is built for neurodivergent athletes to shine exactly as they are. Dive into surf therapy sessions tailored to all abilities, unwind with sensory-friendly beach art, challenge new friends in adaptive sand games, and flow through surf-inspired yoga. By sunset, every athlete steps into the spotlight at our award ceremony, celebrated not just for their courage but for their unique magic—with swag bags from our corporate partners to prove it.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there. Our Little Legends Travel Series brings this transformative experience to Costa Rica’s warm waters, Texas’ sunny shores, New York, New Hampshire, and New England’s beautiful coastlines, and beyond—with Florida joining the roster soon.
The feeling of being part of the larger group of families, volunteers, and participants who were all there to celebrate each other and each surfer, as they were able to participate, is not something we have ever felt in any other setting, even specifically inclusion settings or special needs events. The atmosphere of joy and celebration was amazing to experience.

Our Flagship Annual Little Legends Wave Fest Event
Location: Horseneck Beach, Westport MA
About: This is the Flagship Annual Little Legends Home Event of the Season. Gnome Surf Delivers the Magic and Stoke!
This is the first Inclusive Surf Competition Event of its Kind. We believe that all kids, regardless of abilities, should be able to compete for the title of Grom Champion. This is a celebration showcase where everyone WINS! The scores are based on who is having the most fun, not on skill level.
Competition will be split into 3 Divisions: (Grouped by Age: 10 & Under, 18 & Under.
- Tandem Division- Athlete and Instructor Team will ride the waves in Tandem.
- Assisted Division- The Instructor will assist Athlete with positioning, wave choice, and push into the wave, but the Athlete will surf wave on their own.
- Freestyle Division- Solo Surfing
Come build friendships and deepen your connections to the Gnome Family for an afternoon of fun on the waves.
